NMEA 0183

NMEA 0183 is a combined electrical and data specification for communication of eg. GPS position and speed between marine electronic devices, utilizing a simple ASCII serial communications protocol and offering a sender unidirectional conversation with multiple receivers. The data can be bridged to a controller using the data exchange function.
