Beijer Electronics at SMM 2008

September 23-26 Beijer Electronics attended the Shipbuilding Machinery & Marine technology exhibition (SMM) in Hamburg, Germany. The SMM is unquestionably the world’s leading maritime industry trade fair with 1,950 exhibitors and more than 47,000 professional visitors. Beijer Electronics' sun-readable technology on EXTER operator panels created great interest when it was showed for the first time in public. In order to show the big difference in visuality between an EXTER sun-readable and a standard EXTER, a challenging and strong light setting was created in the stand.

In addition to exhibit their wide range of Marine panel IPC's, monitors and operator panels Beijer Electronics also presented unique features such as:

• connecting up to 6 monitors to one EPC with picture signals distributed via ethernet
• synchronized dimming via LAN
